Camera!

SANTINO:

Thanks to santino I'm now able to make these awesome pictures, for example,  in the middle of the night!
Down here the view from our balcony,

and this down here is the view from our front door. The 30 second shutter time gave the really nice light. Same goes for the balcony picture, cause it was pitch black when i took but thanks to the 30 seconds it turned out quite bright :)

So once again: Dankjewel Santino!!

more

Just a little more work from the last few weeks.

This was an experiment, trying to do something with strange colors,
didn't turn out brilliant, but I only gave myself an hour. So I think it's not to bad.

This one was for my painting lessons, we had to choose an object, study it well and make a final work with several objects (different ones or the same). I Really have to make a better picture, but you get the idea.
It's a pencil sharpener...

And this here below was for our cloning assignment. I decided that instead of cloning myself I wanted to clone my parents, cause I'm in some way a clone of them.
You're able to shuffle the pieces around, and off course leave some gaps cause I'm not a perfect clone of them.

Lately

This image here below is again an Illustrator girl for software.
In the original assignment we had to add text but I like it better as plain as it is now.
I like how all the different types of purple and pink worked out together.

Update: And now I ended up liking the girl with the text added also quite well. So here it is:

And this o so charming dress here below was for a 'hiding place' assignment.
We had to create our own hiding place for a situation of your own choice.
So I made this for the moments that I get homesick. The dress is build up from pieces of clothing from my parents, brother, boyfriend and grandma. In that way can have everyone around me when I need them.

I like the front better than the back, and I just love how the pink VONIK turned out.

Probably more stuff online soon, cause we're doing an awful lot of work lately.

HOOFT DANSANT

Yeah, a party flyer made in illustrator!
I'm quite proud to be honest. The quality doesn't look to good in this smaller size,
but if you click on it, it'll be fine!

ZATERDAG 25 DECEMBER 1010

So, this is a calender page that might (yeah 'might', it's a competition thing) appear in the 1010 WDKA calender. And cause my page says that you can download this image in big size so you can actually use them as finger puppets; tadaa here it is!

And If you'd like to try them before december 1010 you're also welcome! Just cut nicely around the edges and there you go!

Illustator

So, that's a better upload. I learned that you should export your illustrator files if you want them to stay fancy.

On the Farm

My Guapo Rojo and two other guys just squatted a huge ass farm. In the stable they're having a party tonight (from the last post flyer) and the walls could use some decoration. Because of the soberness of the place, I thought it could use some extra love&girlieness. Hehe, so here below my Giraffe.

The picture is a bitty crappy because of the weird light and reflections, I couldn't help it.  Hope I can make some more of these animals on the rest of the walls in the next few weeks.

Flyerr

This poster here below is for a party of a friend of mine. I didn't had to much time for it, so it's quit literal, but I think it worked out quit nice.

Pien goes to Africa

Hello there, down here you can see the 3 spreads which have been keeping damn me busy the last few weeks. We had to make our own book, so I made up this thin story about a granny moving to Africa to build a vegetarian restaurant. This way the lions etc. will go and eat there, instead of eating the 'nice' animals. Not a great story I know, but it had loads of possibilities for me.
So see the result here below! Click for a larger image!

Here the animals are gonna help Pien building the restaurant.

This is where Pien is cooking for the first time, and the hungry animals are interrested in the great smell.

And here, off course, (almost) everybody's happy with the great vegetarian meals they're getting. And they will never eat any meat any more, happy happy joy joy.

Hope you like it!

My first oil painting.

Jup, my very first oil painting ever. I guess it ain't finished yet,
cause it doesn't feel perfect. But I don't know what to adjust at this moment.

The pink stain here on the left is my finger being in the picture, so don't bother about that.
It's a king fisher by the way, check them out at google and tell me what to change.
The original background was a blurry view of some water and land, to difficult for me now,
so I just made it a bit white and greyish.

Hope you'll like it though.

Hello there,

I'm quit busy at the moment, mainly with school. So not much free work to show

Not the highest quality pictures, but I still don't have a scanner. Exuse moi.

Hello there

This here below is a typical example of my cheesy taste of humor.
It was just a normal box in which I saw faces, and this is the result.
The male says: Shit and the female says: nice.

Inspiring he:P

And these four are just an experiment, I wanted to try some new materials.
Some practice got me a bit better as you can probably see, but just a bit, hehe.

And this is another old work. I lived in Barcelona for half a year with a friend, and I had the most awesome time, so I got inspired and made this afterwords. It's me (looking a bit fat and retarded) and her, on our last night out, some famous buildings, razz(matazz) my favorite club, and our tattoos combined on one arm.

Last but not least, a link to the first stop-motion I've ever made. It was for school, there's no deep message in there or what so ever, but I had a lot of fun making it.

Just some more..

Pictures!

This one is 'kikker & ezel', representing me and my boyfriend.
We had to wear these costumes on Sinterklaas (Dutch festivity) last year, and I thought we looked quit funny so I made this painting. I added a few meaningful items in the background, so it would be more interesting. Can you find them?

This portrait is a recent work I made for school.
My goal was to make the face disappear in the background
and I think that worked out quit well.
We actually had to paint his face white with the same wall paint that had been used for the wall behind him, hehe.

The painting down here is hanging in my parents kitchen, it's based in picture a friend of mine maid in our home town. It's about one and a half meter wide, It ain't the most brilliant thing, but I like it though.
